Atlantic City, NJ - Ho-Ho-Kus Volunteer Fire Department responded to Route 17 northbound near the Hollywood Avenue exit after a vehicle left the roadway during a driving rainstorm.

Upon arrival, crews found the vehicle had struck multiple road signs and a stand of trees before coming to rest off the roadway. Despite the impact, the occupant was able to self-extricate and was not injured.

Firefighters secured the vehicle, mitigated any hazards, and remained on scene until the vehicle was removed by a tow company.
