Watchung, N.J. — July 11 — A reported overturned car near the intersection of Union Avenue and New Providence Road prompted the Watchung Volunteer Fire Department, located at 57 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069, to react. When Chief 60, Assistant Chief 60, and Squad 60 arrived, they discovered one overturned car. While emergency workers assessed the occupants, firefighters secured and stabilized the car, managed any dangers, and helped with traffic and scene safety.

Thankfully, there were no reported injuries. Before all units were put back into service, the situation was turned over to the relevant authorities for car removal and investigation when it was determined that the area was safe.
