Serious Motorcycle vs. Car MVA on 17K in Newburgh

Town/Newburgh Police and EMS responded Friday night to a serious MVA involving a motorcycle/vehicle on State Route 17K and Burger King. Winona Lake FD responded also. Police found motorcycle driver on ground-in area of motorcycle-EMS requested launch of Medevac-GoodWill FD set up Landing Zone in Lowe’s parking lot. Route 17K was closed during incident. Driver transported to LZ airlifted to Westchester Medical Center. Town/Newburgh Detective was called for pictures. Firefighters assisted with traffic-spread speedy dry on fluids. State Police was also at scene. Town/Newburgh Police investigating the cause. Winona Lake Emergency Truck used light tower to light up scene.
