Determine Your Specialization

  • Learn to predict and prevent crime by studying advanced analytical techniques, strategic planning, geographic information mapping, database usage, and more.
  • Gain the analytical tools, critical-thinking skills, and database knowledge required to evaluate information and inform high-level decision making across multiple criminal justice sectors.
  • Earn a certification from the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA) as a Basic Intelligence Analyst, setting you apart in the job market and giving you an edge over your peers.

Intelligence Analyst Track

  • Learn how to analyze complex public sector challenges and manage the day-to-day operations of law enforcement and public agencies.
  • Work one-on-one with an experienced faculty advisor to conduct thorough research and produce a high-quality, publishable thesis that will enhance your professional resume.
