Attleboro, MA - A driver was injured after a vehicle left the roadway, traveled through a wooded area, and came to rest in a residential backyard, prompting a response from the Attleboro Fire Department.
Firefighters and paramedics arrived to find the vehicle in the backyard of a home on Captain Courtois Road. The sole occupant, a man in his 70s, was located outside the vehicle and immediately received medical treatment from emergency crews.
According to officials, the vehicle had been traveling on Rachael Drive when it left the roadway. The vehicle traveled approximately 75 feet through a wooded area, damaged a fence, passed through a small stone fire pit, and narrowly avoided several trees before coming to a stop.
