Fire Strikes Vacant Duquesne Home

City of Duquesne, PA – At 11:02 P.M. on June 6th, firefighters were dispatched to Catharine Street for a reported dwelling fire. Duquesne's Chief arrived on-scene and confirmed a fully involved abandoned house and had incoming units set up a defensive attack. The fire was brought under control at 11:55 P.M., but crews stayed on-scene until almost 2:00 A.M. extinguishing hot spots. No one was injured and the fire is under investigation.
