CAMDEN, NJ - At 5:33 A.M. on June 3, 2026, the Camden County Fire Alarm Room dispatched the Camden Fire Department to 1116 Baring Street for the report of a dwelling fire. BC Phil Tally was first to arrive and reported heavy fire showing from the second floor of a two-story, middle-of-the-row, ordinary constructed dwelling. Engine Co. 8 was the FDE, secured its own water supply, and stretched the initial hand lines. Ladder Co. 1 went to the roof for ventilation and to channel the fire away from the attached exposures. The searches were negative, and one member sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital. The fire was placed under control in about 20 minutes.
