On Saturday, May 18th 2024, the East Hampton Fire Department hosted a wet down ceremony for ten new fire apparatus. The wetdown was hosted at East Hampton Fire Department Headquarters located at 1 Cedar Street, East Hampton, New York. The new apparatus were three chiefs cars, one tower ladder, two engines, one Fire police rig, one heavy rescue, one tanker, one brush truck. The Southampton Fire Department, Montauk Fire Department, Springs Fire Department, Amaganset Fire Department, Sag Harbor Fire Department.
