Southern Manatee Fire District was called to a report of smoke coming from the woods. Enroute, a small column of smoke could be seen. On arrival, they found a large pile of brush on fire. Companies had to extend the hose line to reach the fire. Foam was used to assist with the extra dry vegetation.
