Southington, CT - On May 4th at about 5:30 firefighters were alerted to a house fire on East Street in Southington, CT. All Southington units were on scene. A small fire was found in the basement of a vacant house, which took firefighters a few minutes to extinguish. There were no injuries reported. Meriden Car 3 and Engine 2 responded for mutual aid.
