LOUDON, NH - On April 26th, the Loudon Fire Department along with automatic mutual aid tankers were dispatched to Kenney Road reporting a house fire at 4:13 P.M. As companies responded, heavy black smoke could be seen from a distance. The house was located down a long driveway, and Kenney Road itself is a narrow dirt road with no water sources nearby. Firefighters arrived to find the two-story home well-involved in fire and a second-alarm was transmitted. A tanker shuttle was established and it took firefighters about an hour to extinguish the flames. Firefighters also had extensive overhaul and the house is considered a total loss. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
