Easter Sunday House Fire in Fall River

FALL RIVER, MA - Shortly before 11:00 AM on Easter Sunday morning, 911 Communications began receiving multiple calls reporting a house fire at 100 Hancock Street. Engines 4, 5 and 9, along with Ladders 2 and 4, Rescue 1 and Car 3 responded. Car 3 arrived on scene and established Hancock Command and reported heavy smoke and flame showing from the B/C corner and declared a working structure fire. Command called for the utilities to respond along with the EMA Chief because the residents would be unable to to return to their home. Heavy fire consumed the the entire B/C corner, as well as one side of the roof and resulted in heavy damage throughout the home.
