April 17, 2025 (Brooklyn NY) FDNY Commissioner Robert S. Tucker, Chief of Department John Esposito, Chief of EMS Operations Michael Fields, FDNY Officials joined in a Fire Emergency Medical Services Bureau Promotion Ceremony. Two Lieutenants will be promoted to the rank of Captain, 14 Paramedics will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, and eight EMTs will graduate from the medic upgrade program and be promoted to Paramedic. The newly promoted members will be assigned to units throughout New York City.
