BROOKLYN, NY - FDNY was called out to a compacter fire at 177 Sands Street at NYCHA's Farragut Houses Development early Sunday night, April 13th. Several civilians suffered minor injuries from the heavy smoke condition that filled the upper floors. Quick work by the FDNY prevented any serious injuries and property damage.
