Middle Hope FD responded to reported chimney fire around 3:00 in the afternoon on 10-April. Units arrived and requested Second Alarm sounded for working

attic fire. Cronomer Valley-Ladder,Good Will-Engine,Newburgh FAST TEAM,Marlboro-Engine,Plattekill-Engine responded to scene. Firefighters used hand lines

and ground ladders-fire was blowing out of residence on south side. Middlehope extended ladder to roof and started ventilating the roof. Central Hudson was called

for power cut-Deputy Orange County Fire Coordinator 36-12 was at scene-Town/Newburgh EMS also at scene. Thirty minute status check-fire knocked down starting

to check hot spots. Requested Town/Newburgh Fire Inspector to scene. Fire is under investigation. Orange Lake/Winona Lake/Marlboro was on stand by for Middle

Hope and Good will.
