LEOMINSTER, MA - Around 11:30 A.M. on April 10th, Leominster Fire Alarm began receiving calls for a possible house fire on Washington St.
Chief Robert Sideleau II reported he had heavy smoke visible in that area and arrived first on scene to find a two-and-a-half story wood-frame with heavy fire in the rear. Chief Sideleau immediately struck a working fire. Crews began an aggressive attack and knocked down the heavy fire and began extensive overhaul.
Fitchburg, Sterling, and Shirley sent engine companies to the scene while other communities covered stations. This house was damaged by fire almost three years ago and renovations were recently completed.
