New Britain, CT - A large two-story vacant house was destroyed by fire on March 29th. Firefighters arrived at 92 Vine St. at around 3:55 A.M. to find the house fully involved. The two-alarm fire could only be fought from the exterior due to the conditions. The building to the left received some minor heat damage to the siding. One firefighter received a minor foot injury. Station coverage was provided by Middletown, Hartford, West Hartford and Meriden. The cause is under investigation.
