The Pyramid Lake Fire & Emergency Services is located in Washoe County, Nevada. The department, which covers Nixon, Wadsworth and Sutcliffe communitie, had a first ever fundraiser and Chief Shane Shifflett invited Walker River Paiute Tribe Fire and Truckee Meadows Fire to assist in the activities. Volunteers arrived at 0430 hrs to prepare for the Pancake Breakfast which brought in over 100 community members to the function. The money raised was used for future activities and equipment. It was a huge success.
