Nixon and Sutcliffe volunteers were dispatched to SR447 @ Capital Hill for a brush fire at the Nixon ball field. Units arrived and found a large fuel load on fire with high winds. Command was established by Shane Shifflett. The decision was made to let the field burn since no structures or life was in danger. The crews remained on scene for two hours.
