Newburgh FD responded to reported rear porch on fire on 24-March around 2:10 in the afternoon at 29 Robinson Ave. Command arrived and rear porch was fully involved. Requested Second

Alarm sounded:West Point-Air Guard-Good Will FD responded to scene. Newburgh Ladder was working on roof area-firefighters used hand lines to knock fire down-additional

firefighters helped with ground ladders and handlines. Robinson Ave was blocked at Broadway and First Street by City//Newburgh Police. One resident was rescued thru side window on

Southside of building-subject was transported to Montefiore-St Lukes Hospital. Orange County Deputy Fire Coordinator 36-13 was at scene-Requested thru Orange County Fire Investigators-

36-103 and 104 responded. Two additional firefighters were taken to Montefiore-St Lukes Hospital be Empress EMS. Central Hudson was called for power cut. Fire is under investigation.
