NEW BRITAIN, CT - Three families have been displaced, and three dogs have died in a fire at 183 Broad Street on March 7th.
The fire was first called in as an electrical problem just after 12:30 A.M., but was soon upgraded to a fire on the third-floor. The fire was in a third-floor kitchen and had spread to another apartment before being knocked down in about 20 minutes. There were very strong winds at the time.
No injuries were reported, and the cause is under investigation.
