One Person Rescued in New Britain Working House Fire

NEW BRITAIN, CT - One person was rescued from a house fire at 52 Dover Road on February 21st.
Firefighters arrived on scene with heavy fire and smoke coming from the first-floor and reports of a person trapped on the second-floor. A second-alarm was soon called in.
Firefighters were able to remove the victim from the home where they were transported to the hospital, along with another person who was able to escape on their own. The extent of their injuries are unknown.
The cause is under investigation.
