WEST JEFFERSON, OH - On Tuesday February 12, 2008 on US Interstate 70 east & west bound at Mile Marker 80 in Western Ohio.
It was caused my a major ice storm that hit the mid west overnight.
The crash here was caused by a Uhaul truck that was traveling at a high rate of speed to rear end a Tractor Traler operated by Swift Transportation.
The Uhaul Truck then broke threw a Jersey barrier on to the west bound lanes and caused a head on crash with a SUV and 2 other cars.
The Highways was shut down for 3 hours in each direction to complete the investigation and remove the cars and trucks involved.
I was on location on way to City of Industry CA for business and was stuck in the traffic.
