Lakeland FD Combats House Fire

RONKONKOMA, NY - On Tuesday, January 7th at approximately 8:50 A.M., the Lakeland Fire Department was activated for a reported structure fire on Wildwood Road.
Upon the arrival of 3-13-30, a working fire was transmitted with heavy fire on the first and second floors of a private dwelling. Lakeland Fire Department Engine 3-13-4 arrived first due and began an aggressive interior attack.
Mutual aid was provided by Central Islip Fire Department, Bohemia Fire Department, Holbrook Fire Department, Nesconset Fire Department, and Ronkonkoma Fire Department.
?The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Islip Town Fire Marshal's Office. All units operated under the command of 3-13-30.
