LITTLETON, MA - Two US Army helicopters from the 10th Mountain Division based out of Fort Drum, NY stopped at Littleton High School for a recruiting event before their appearance at the Army-Navy game in Foxborough. The event was organized by Major Mark Cavallo, who is a 2005 graduate of L.H.S. The visit was one-of-five stops for the Chinook CH-47F and Apache AH-64D before their fly-over at the first-ever Gillette Army-Navy game. Cavallo had the honor of piloting the Chinook. The Army West Point Point Black Knights defeated the Navy Midshipmen, 17-11. Members of the Littleton Fire Department secured the Landing zone and stood by during the event to assist the flight crews.
