4th Alarm on Kennedy Blvd.
Photo by RON JEFFERSOn November 8th, Jersey City Engine Co. 11 arrived at 3507 Kennedy Blvd. to find heavy fire coming from the building and ordered a second-alarm. Authorities believe the fire started in a business on the ground floor and quickly spread through the structure and extended to two adjacent mixed occupancy buildings. Third and fourth alarms were transmitted by Deputy Chief Joe Menendez. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries and 26 residents were displaced, according to NJ Advanced Media.
