An announcement was made over the dispatch channel remembering Neglia and honoring his memory. Firefighter Neglia began his career with the North Bergen Fire Department before the North Hudson regional department was organized. Members of Rescue 1 and Squad 1 stand in respect for Firefighter Neglia at their quarters on 43rd St., Union City.
