The City of Cambridge recently placed twin Pierce Enforcer pumpers in service at Engines 2 and 5. These apparatus have a short wheelbase and are equipped with the Oshkosh TAK-4 T3 rear steer system, enabling effortless navigation through the city's congested streets and endless maze of bicycle lanes. They carry 500-gallons of water and can pump 1250 gallons-per-minute. The 2019 Pierce Enforcer previously assigned to Engine 5 was reassigned to Engine 9, and the identical 2020 model from Engine 2 will go to Engine Co 8.
