Corolla Fire Department (Currituck County North Carolina) is a combination fire department. The department was established in 1983. The department protects the oceanfront and popular tourist community of Corolla NC. Due to their unique response area (including many miles of beach, limited paved roads, and numerous vacation properties), the Corolla FD has always had a pretty unique fleet. Station 2 houses, Engine 66, Tanker 62 and Brush 62. The department answered 422 calls for service in 2023.
