The City of Scranton recently took delivery of a 2023 Sutphen medium duty rescue built on a Kenworth T480 Chassis. It is powered by a Paccar PX9 300 H.P. engine and Allison EVS3000 transmission. It has a 30Kw Onan PTO generator. This apparatus is the departments special operations unit,and carries various rescue equipment and shoring equipment. It also is the departments air cascade unit. It is stationed with Engine Co. 8.
