Groton operated the 2007 Spartan Gladiator Diamond/Crimson 1500/1250 as Engine 5 until it was involved in an accident and subsequently taken out of service. In 2023, this apparatus was acquired by New Ipswich, New Hampshire, and refurbished the following year. It now serves the town as Rescue 1.
