On July 13, Abby Converse was officially admitted as a full member of the Muddy Brook Fire Department at a ceremony.
Converse's father, Deputy Chief Tom Converse, awarded her a firefighter badge, signifying the end of her enrollment procedure and the start of her full-time departmental duty.
