In recognition of his 50 years of community service, the Huntington Manor Fire Department named former captain Ray Sipel grand marshal of this year's parade.

In acknowledgment of his decades of service to the department and the citizens it serves, Sipel, a former captain of the Hose Company, was chosen for the award. His years of volunteer work have had a long-lasting effect on the community and the department.
