On July 4, the East Northport Fire Department participated in the community's celebration of Independence Day and America's 250th anniversary.

Throughout the holiday, firefighters continued to be ready to respond to emergencies while honoring the country's history of service and sacrifice. Residents were urged by department officials to celebrate responsibly by letting professionals handle the fireworks, drinking enough of water during the summer heat, and engaging in safe holiday activities.
