Colchester Truck 1 operates a 2023 Pierce Arrow XT with a 100' midmount Ascendant platform. This new acquisition has a 2000 GPM pump and carries 300 gallons of water.
Truck 1 replaced the 1996 Simon-Duplex / LTI 75' rear-mounted quint that ran as Ladder 1. It had a 1500 GPM pump and carried 500 gallons of water. North Stonington has since purchased the 28-year-old quint for their town.
