Families are invited to the Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department's Firefighter's Kids Zone return, which will take place during Plum Borough Summerfest starting on June 18.

According to officials, kids will have the chance to dress up as firefighters and finish a challenging course with entertaining, firefighter-themed activities meant to provide them an interactive introduction to the fire department. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to meet local firefighters and tour one of the department's fire engines.

The Kids Zone will open on June 18 at 6 p.m., June 19 at 5 p.m., and June 20 at 4 p.m. According to department officials, the program aims to teach kids more about public safety and firefighting while offering an enjoyable, family-friendly experience.
