Station 35 Crews Respond to Multiple Overnight Incidents
Saxton, PA - Members of Station 35 experienced a busy stretch overnight, responding to two separate emergency calls within just a few hours.
At 10:49 p.m. on June 10, 2026, Station 35 was dispatched to assist Blair 491 on a medical emergency after a second medical call was reported in the area. Unit 15 had already been dispatched to handle the first medical incident, with the two calls occurring only minutes apart.
Later, at 1:45 a.m. on June 11, 2026, Station 35 was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in the 35-03 box area on Little Valley Road. Rescue 17 was also due on the assignment. Chief 35 and Captain 35-3 responded directly to the scene, with Captain 35-3 arriving first. Upon investigation, it was determined that the vehicle had struck a deer and no emergency services were required. Captain 35-3 subsequently placed all responding units back in service.
