Photo by RON JEFFERSOn June 9th, the Meadowlands Fire Department, in East Rutherford, received their new Engine 2. This is a 2025 E-One Typhoon "Metro Series" 1500-gpm/780-gwt model. The raised roof cab has six seats. The front bumper has an intake and front "jump line" discharge gate. There are three cross-lay beds and two rear discharge gates. A booster reel is located in a compartment under the low rear hose bed. There is ground ladder and pipe pole hose bed compartment space, along with wheel well storage, plus scene lights. It was sold by Absolute Fire Protection Co.
