Photo by RON JEFFERSIn Piscataway, the North Stelton Fire Company has placed into service a 2026 Pierce Velocity 7010 cab model 2000-gpm/750-gwt/30-gft apparatus assigned as Engine 21. The raised roof cab has six seats and cabinet space. The extended front bumper has an intake and discharge gate, and there are three cross-lay beds. Two have water-foam capability. There is also a water-foam rear discharge. It has a total of four hard suction hoses. Two mounted in compartments on each side of the rig. It has roll-out trays, roll-out tool board, rear vision camera, ground ladders stored in a hose bed compartment and a rear 9000-lb portable winch, plus a deck gun. It carries an extrication tool, cribbing and 8 kW generator. There is also a de-con nozzle mounted on the officer's side of the apparatus. It was sold by Fire & Safety Services.
