On the afternoon of March 23rd, North Hudson firefighters operated at a fire that involved a void space between two Bergenline av. commercial buildings, in Union City.  While overhauling and pulling out debris from that space, firefighters began removing numerous old soda bottles.  That included Coke, Pepsi, Yoo-Hoo and others. Old soda bottles are collectibles that some people value.  North Hudson Firefighter Troy Joseph, of Ladder Co. 4, inspects an old Coke bottle.  Firefighters recognized their value as opposed to junk.  Some bottles were washed off with a hose and treated with care.
