Firefighter Rescue Training at All Hands Fire Training Center

Firefighters from seven fire departments recently attended a 24-hour Firefighter Rescue training course at the All Hands Fire Training Center located in Neptune City, NJ. Students from East Franklin, Freewood Acres, Elizaveth Avenue, Herbertsville, Southard and Stafford participated in and successfully completed job perfomance requirements contained in NFPA 1407, Rapid Intervention Crew Training. These included firefighter drags, carries, up and down stairs; Nance Drill, Denver Drill, Mayday calls, Firefighter Survival Skills and more. The final session included firefighter rescue scenarios.
