Photo by SFDSALEM, MA - Patricia (Koen) Marfongelli celebrates her last day as a Salem Firefighter with husband/DC Tony Marfongelli. Patty was the first female firefighter in Salem and is retiring after 36 years of service with the Witch City. Her father, James J. Koen Jr., died in the line of duty on February 23, 1981. She was able to work with her two brothers, Capt. Kevin Koen and FF James Koen. Congratulations Patty!
