FAIR LAWN, NJ - On November 16th at approximately 3:45 P.M., Fair Lawn Police, Fire, Rescue and EMS were dispatched to the scene of a MVA in the parking lot of Fair Lawn Commons Apartment/Condo complex. A driver apparently blacked out while attempting to park her vehicle in a parking space in the lot, and her car ended up on top of another car that was parked on the other side of the concrete and grass median in the center of the parking lot. Fair Lawn Heavy Rescue was dispatched to the scene to stabilize the vehicle, which was precariously perched atop the other vehicle before the driver could be removed. The driver was removed without incident and further aid from Fair Lawn Ambulance Corps was refused.
