PEPPERELL, MA - Pepperell firefighters battled a second-alarm fire on Mill St., November 20th. Companies arrived to find fire showing from the rear of this single-story wood-frame and made an aggressive interior attack, knocking down the fire in a short amount of time. Companies remained on scene checking for extension and overhauling. Mutual aid from Dunstable, Groton, Townsend and Hollis assisted at the scene. Ayer and Brookline covered the stations.
