Car Vs. Bicycle with Injuries on Route 17K in Newburgh

NEWBURGH, NY - Town of Newburgh police officers are investigating a vehicle vs. bicycle accident that occurred on State Route 17K, in front of Stony Brook, on November 19th. Town of Newburgh Police requested an EMS Medevac to be placed on stand by. Town of Newburgh EMS transported the subject from the bicycle to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital. Good Will FD assisted at the scene with traffic control and had a light tower in place. New York State Police also assisted at the scene. The Town of Newburgh Police Dept. is investigating the cause.
