On Sunday, November 10th 2024, the Sayville Fire Department hosted a rededication for Station 2 and wet-down ceremony for Engine 3-11-5 and Tower Ladder 3-11-9. Engine 5 is a 2021 Pierce Engine which replaced a 1993 Pierce Engine. Tower 9 is a 2023 Pierce Tower Ladder which replaced a 2010 Pierce Tower.
