On Friday November 1st 2024 and Saturday November 2nd 2024 the LT Joesph P. DiBernardo Memorial Foundation hosted hands on training. The training seminar was hosted at the Suffolk County Fire Academy. Participants from across the country enhanced their skills from rescue operations to fire suppression operations. Some stations students attended was Man vs Machine, Auto Stabilization, Roof Operations, Ladder Operations, Forcible Entry, Fire Suppression in Taxpayers and Private Dwellings, and ETC. This training seminar is dedicated to LT Joey P. DiBernardo who passed away in 2011 from injuries he sustained back in 2005 after bailing out of a fire in the Bronx on a day called “Black Sunday”.
