Fire Destroys Two-Family Dwelling in New Cumberland

NEW CUMBERLAND, PA - New Cumberland Fire Department responded to this two-family private dwelling fire on the 400 block of Miller Ave., October 27th. The Fire Department was was having their October Fest while receiving the call blocks away. The families were all out of the house when firefighters arrived. The fire appeared to have started in the rear of the dwelling. Mutual Aid fire departments responded from Defense Logistics FD, Camp Hill, New Kingstown, Hampdon Twp., West Shore, Fairview Twp., and Lower Allen. Firefighters remained at the scene for two hours. No injuries were reported.
