BOSTON, MA - Companies were dispatched to 572 Washington Street on October 18th for a reported fire. The dispatcher advised that the fire alarm office was receiving calls reporting the fire. When companies arrived on scene they encountered fire on floors two and three, as well as the roof of a three decker. The porches in the rear were well involved. The district 11 chief arrived and struck the second-alarm. Companies had the fire knocked down in about 30 minutes, and overhauled for an extended period of time.
