On October 24th 2021 the Mastic Beach Fire Department hosted there Open House for Fire Prevention. They had a various equipment on display. They had a Ladder Trucks, Engines, A Tanker, Marine Units, Stump Jumper, and Fire Police units on display. Kids could look and sit in the trucks and get to know each tool is used. They had the Suffolk County Sheriff Department giving out child identification cards. Mastic Beach Volunteer Ambulance Company was there for a medical staff and also gave tours of there ambulance. The Mastic Beach Fire Department Juniors handled fire house bowling.
